something to wrap your hands around.
For some crazy reason fall/winter means I need a new coffee mug (Although if you look in my kitchen cabinet it is clearly evident that I have no shortage). It doesn't feel like I have officially rung in the new season without a little ceramic goodness to wrap my hands around.

goodbye, hello.
Here's the dealio. Over the past few weeks I have experienced a little too much chaos than I prefer. Not okay, especially when it interrupts my bloggin' time. One of my bigger life changes has been the acquisition of a new job. Hooray! On August 22nd I will be transitioning from this to....a more casual something (Not really sure what to call it). I will be working with kiddos on a one-to-one basis, meaning goodbye heels and slacks, and hello jeans. This is pretty much heaven for a post-grad (or is it just me?). No need to purchase uncomfortable clothing that will only be worn Monday thru Friday 8 to 5. Don't get me wrong, I love dressing up, but if I could chose, I would be wearing jeans and ballet flats.
So in honour of this job I give you the new and improved work outfit for moi.

or if I am feeling real zesty...
I hope you noticed, that by "zesty" I meant I added boots to this equation.

found.
Found Vintage Rentals is the greatest find (hehe) ever. A friend of mine discovered this lovely event decor and prop resource for weddings, photo shoots, and events. It has everything from candlesticks to bikes to couches. Anything and everything vintage you could possibly want. Unfortunately for us in the Northwest, Found Vintage is located in Orange County...maybe they could move up North soon?? Pretty please?
Pretty please with sugar on top?

bundle up.
So now that I am back in Oregon I have to adjust to a 30 degree drop in temperature. Sounds like fun right? Well it would be a lot more fun if I could wear these little gems.
I realize this won't exactly keep me warm, but it will sure look good.
So comfy!
I can only imagine how nice everything would look
with my new green wool coat!

a little bit of cheer.
I am usually not one to be oogling over Christmas anything before turkey day. But I saw this stop motion video on Anthropologie's site and I couldn't help but share. Makes me want to Anthro-out my Christmas tree this year. Too bad I can't afford it.
Check it out...Anthropologie – Trim Video
