beside.

My bedside table has become a mess of paperwork, lists, and books. If only mine could look like this...

sleep in.

My dream bedroom would look a little something like the following. Thank you Flickr for never ceasing in the ideas department. Would absolutely love to wake up to one of these snuggly bedrooms...and a cup of coffee?

folklore.

Sanna Annukka is a Finnish illustrator and print maker with crazy talent. Absolutely love the simplicity and creativity of these prints. Especially being a Swed myself...it's almost like they are calling to be purchased by moi.

toasty toes.

In honor of the first snow of 2011, in Portland that is...I give you the fireplaces I lust over.
I plan on spending my snow day(s) sipping hot chocolate and/or wine in front of my fireplace and finishing up Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky.

I realize that this isn't necessarily "toasty," but I love the idea
and the fact that it is yet another place to store my unhealthy collection of books.

Most heavenly bath ever.

happy winters end!

unfinished.

I have realized lately while perusing through my "future home" file on my desktop, that I have a (slightly) unhealthy obsession with unfinished wood. See for yourself.

Yes...this is a nursery. What can I say, I love me some munchkins.

So many things could go in these drawers!!

honestly...this is about 10 images short of my entire unfinished wood collection.

train track love.

Love me some vintage posters. Makes me want to hop on a train and not look back.

book lust.

Greatest discovery ever. A blog solely dedicated to libraries.
Every picture is urging me to run to Powells and add to my book collection...which I already have no room for.

shadow.

Hello silhouettes I love you! How beautiful and simple are these? With a steady hand, some black and white card stock, and a simple Ikea frame you could have yourself some inexpensive and stunning wall art.

Love this wrap around idea. So unique.
